Abstract:
Restructuring
of the NA gypsum board industry has begun, with the players contending with
unstable prices, poor profits, plant closures and spending cutbacks in
spite of good volumes. This paper will show where the capacity, cost
structure, product range and pricing need to evolve in order to stabilize
the market and improve the long term health of the industry.
