Innogyps has worked with CasoFour Ltd. and GypsumTechnologiesLtd. to develop a new process to reduce the water demand of beta hemihydrate without causing other problems in set or strength.

Cost savings are in the range of US$2-6/msf. This will significantly reduce the carbon footprint of the gypsum industry worldwide. A full scale plant is now fully operational.

Low Cost Alpha

On contract for GB Technologies, LLC, Innogyps developed a low cost method to produce alpha plaster for use in floor screed applications. Assistance was given in process development, patent application, formulation and implementation on a plant scale. Patents were granted and the process has proven to be a commercial success.
